Linking Internships To Future Employment (LIFE) Opportunities

Eligibility Requirements

Although Internship requirements vary across majors, general requirements for all students include:

• Students must have attained junior status (earned 60 hours) prior to beginning an internship
  
  

• Internships must be approved by the faculty member who is responsible for overseeing the student through the internship period. In most instances, approval should be granted the semester prior to the internship.
  

Grade Point Average requirements are a minimum of 2.0 with the exception of Accounting and Finance. Accounting majors are required to have a minimum overall 2.5 GPA and 2.2 GPA in Accounting courses; Finance majors are required to have a minimum overall 2.0 GPA and 3.0 GPA in Finance courses.
